My Best Poker Strategy

This is my best poker strategy and it has really helped my game out a lot, if you’re not doing this then it can probably help your game too.

Here is all you do, keep a pen and paper by your keyboard and keep track of your new poker strategy.  It’s not very high tech, but it’s the best way I have found to get an accurate idea of how your poker strategy is working out.

You can use poker tracker, but there are a lot of things that poker tracker won’t tell you.

For example: if you’re on the button and no one else bets will you make money betting a pot size bet in a no limit game even if you don’t have any cards worth playing.

If someone else bets it does not count, and if you have a good hand that you would ordinarily play it does not count.

My paper says the answer is yes, you should bet and you will end up making more money.

Here is the current poker strategy I am tracking at the moment; if I have a pocket pair and I have one bet on the table and I get raised pre-flop will I make more money by calling that raise or folding?

I don’t think poker tracker can answer that one either.

So far I am starting out on a bad streak, the last 3 times I have hit my set someone has cleaned me out with a straight.

The only reason I am trying this at all is because of how much money a friend of mine has made playing pocket pairs.

I am not sure how large a sample size I need; I know 3 isn’t a good number to make a decision with, probably something over 100 and I would have a very good idea.

Try out your next poker strategy with my system and see how it works for you.
