Can't Win A Single Set

I have really been taking a beating lately. I had several good runs and I guess I got used to making some money while I was playing poker.  Then all of a sudden I just started taking bad beat after bad beat.

I haven’t changed my play at all but I am now down 850 big blinds. All in a very short period of time.  I just keep flopping 4 to the flush and 4 to the straight and then I have pot odds to stay in and I literally just never hit them, over and over this has been happening to me for a few weeks now.

At this rate I am not sure how much longer I will be playing poker.  I liked playing when I was winning some money but now that I get beat every time, it’s not near as interesting.

Another strange thing that has been going on is the last 40 to 50 times I have hit my set I have lost almost all of them, I think 3 times everyone else has folded and I got a very small pot.  Other than that I call to the river and get beat.

Today I hit 3 sets and lost all 3, pocket 8’s against pocket Queens, 8 on the flop and Queen on the turn.
Then I had pocket 2’s against pocket 7’s, 2 on the flop and 7 on the river.
Then I played pocket Queens and got my queen on the flop and two people stayed in the pot I was starting to think I may win some of my money back since there were no Aces or Kings on the board.  One guy hits his straight on the river.

I lost count how many sets in a row I have lost but today puts me somewhere in the mid 40’s to 50. I may start counting again, I am not sure why but just out of interest to see how may I can lose in a row.
