Short Handed Poker Beats Full Ring Poker
I have been reading that the poker games at the short handed tables are looser, because the players want to gamble more. The tighter poker players play the 10 handed games.
I have been playing the 10 handed games to clear the poker bonuses faster, at least that’s what I thought. Well after reading this I decided to do a little experiment and I tested out a few 10 person games vs. some 5 and 6 person games. I found out that the 5/6 handed games actually put more money into the pots than the 10 person games.
Not only that, but they play a lot faster also, so your seeing more hands per hour. My experiment showed that the number of raked hands is between 1.5 and 2 times more at a 6 person table compared to a 10 person table.
I have been very comfortable at what hands to play at the 10 handed games, so I am going to have to do some research on which hands are the best to play at the 5 and 6 handed games.
