Sports Book Information

It looks like you can get a deposit bonus and many of the sports books and I think that if you sign up and bet your whole account and lose the bet then they go ahead and give you the bonus, if you win, then you have to keep betting up to 4 times or so.

most of the deposit bonus amounts are 15% so you have to make a large deposit and then you lose some on the spread if your placing an offsetting bet at another sports book site.

most also have some kind of referral program which someone will make money on (maybe not you).

so the basics are as follows:

Deposit in 2 different sportsbooks.. Royal and majorbetting for example..

Royal gives a 25% signup and majorbetting gives a 20%..

lets say you deposited 100 in each book..

so you would have 125 at Royal and 120 at majorbetting.

Lets say you want to play the braves at -110 against philly.. (just an example)

you bet 120 on braves -110 at royal and you bet 120 on philly at majorbetting. (same game-- opposite ways).. If braves win you have 235 at royal.. if philly wins you will have 230 at majorbetting.

you have successfully just made 30 dollars for you time and trouble, but you then have to make another deposit and another sports book and bet a few more times to be able to have access to your money, they will require you to deposit several more hundreds of dollars.

If you withdraw the $100 that you made on the winning bet some sports books charge you up to $15 for this so you can't just withdraw your original $100 and keep using it.

here is a list of sports books that I ran a across from a couple years ago.

Sports arbitrage requires a BIG bankroll. And its not totally risk free. What happens if the book goes under ... sometimes even reputable businesses close shop without warning.

Or one of your bets gets cancelled right before the game goes off the board.
You can also just totally screw up when trying to hedge your bets and not place the right bet.

  • Do not tell a sportsbook your bonuswhoring because they can take your bonus money away from you, they don't make any money by paying out bonuses they make money by people continuing to place bets.

Most books have wagering requirements from 1-4x deposit + bonus. They also grant the bonus money immediately for wagering. So if you bust out a book, you have effectively "cleared" the bonus into another sportsbook. Then you just need to meet the wagering requirements at that one book where you won.

Also, betting the moneyline at opposing books will usually lead to a 1% book advantage, sometimes less. The true theory behind sports arbitrage is finding two books with such drastically different odds on an event that you can hedge your bets such that you guarantee a profit .. usually in the 1-3% range.

  • ran across this site that claims to give you more bonus money for sports betting? don't know if it's true or not

With the trades and acquisitions made going into the draft, plus the bulk of the team that is carried over from last season, and the trades and draft picks made during the draft, it sure seems like the Pats are going to be the team to beat in the AFC this season, and perhaps in all of the NFL.

Considering the Pats were almost in the Superbowl last season with a pathetic receiving corps and that they've added very talented players into said receiving corps this season, barring some nasty injury(ies), they look to be the team to take it all.I say injury(ies) because I think they could survive an injury or two to some positions, but if they lost Brady they'd probably have a hard time recovering.

I wish I could say that the Redskins did well in the draft and/or in free agency but so many holes still exist that I'm not sure they'll be significantly better than last season. I suppose on face they should be if they can keep their corners healthy. With Landry (argh, hard to type that name as a Redskin!!) back there with a healthy secondary they might be able to cheat up more and put more pressure on opposing QBs. Might.

They still have what should be a lot of talent in the receiving positions, and Campbell should be better, but they don't have the quality on either line (offense or defense) that I wish they'd have, so it could be yet another year of .500 at best, or worse.

Still, the NFC East looks to be the NFC Least again this season. None of the teams there look like they'll be that good, and none really look ready to step up and take the division.
